The IMB-S4 media server and Cinergy Command Station, among Christie's novelties at CineEurope 2023

From June 19 to 22 Christie will present at CineEurope 2023 (CCIB Barcelona) the latest in projection, media reproduction systems and services for cinema management. In addition, the CP4420-RGB and CP4455-RGB pure laser projection solutions will debut.

As for the new media block by Christie created for Series 4 cinema projectors CineLife+ and CineLife+ Xe is now also compatible with all major brands of Theatre Management Systems (TMS). This premium, but very economical, solution allows playback at up to 96 frames per second in 4K resolution, making it possible to project content such as Avatar: The Way of the Water exactly as its director intended: in 4K at 48 fps per eye in 3D. But in addition, the IMB-S4 integrates with the intuitive CineLife+ web user interface ensuring a seamless IMB experience and comes with expandable 1.8 terabyte SSD (solid state drive) storage.

Cinergy Command Station

Command Station is presented at CineEurope as a new Cinergy app: A software platform for advanced remote monitoring and management of Christie and non-Christie equipment. Cinergy provides exhibitors and service providers with powerful tools to monitor system health, track assets, have automatic key delivery and make decisions based on comprehensive operational reports.

The new Command Station app allows theater managers to perform booth operations and track and control equipment in their theaters from anywhere. From a simple tablet, subscribers have the ability to start or stop playlists, adjust lighting and sound, and many other functions, quickly and efficiently.
