Christie deploys its projectors in 24 spaces at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival
The projection of Christie brings back to life the screenings of the 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, which takes place from May 13 to 24.
Christie projection technologies, including systems with pure RGB laser, laser and Xenon lighting, will be displayed in 24 spaces of the emblematic event, including the iconic Grand Théâtre Lumière hall and the spectacular open-air screen of the Cinéma de la Plage. More than 40,000 attendees will enjoy this internationally renowned event, which will feature the presence of numerous film stars on its legendary red carpet.

As part of the technical activities of the festival, Zerouali gave a presentation this morning entitled Go to the dark(er) side with VDR: optimizing the cinematic experience, within the framework of CanneS Technique, in which he has addressed the potential of variable dynamic range (VDR) to increase visual quality in digital projection environments.
Among the most anticipated films of this edition of the festival are Scarlett Johansson's directorial debut with Eleanor the Great and his collaboration with Wes Anderson on The Phoenician Scheme; the ambitious Eddington, by Ari Aster, with a stellar cast led by Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal and Emma Stone; as well as Mission Impossible – The Final Reckoning.
