The Cannes Festival once again confirms Christie's projectors

One more year, Christie revalidates its status as official technological partner of the Cannes Film Festival, which this 2022 faces its 75th edition from May 17 to 28.

The projectors of Christie they will be back in all meeting venues, which hopes to host in this edition 35,000 guests. The projection firm has been in charge of the installation and support, just as it has done for the last 16 years. Adil Zerouali, senior director of sales for Cinema EMEA at Christie, considers it “a great honor to continue our association with the Festival de Cannes, whose renowned prestige and rich history make it a truly unique celebration, year after year.”

The pure RGB laser projectors that will be present at Cannes are the models Christie CP4440-RGB, CP4330-RGB, CP2315-RGB y CP2306-RGBe, all of them DCI compatible. The first three solutions have lighting Christie Real|Laser, offering color and contrast that spans more than 95% of Rec. 2020 color space.

The technical specification of projection technology throughout the Festival has been supervised by the Higher Technical Commission for Image and Sound (CTS).
