The first 4K UHD mobile unit in Greece equips Grass Valley technology

Owned and operated by Live Productions View Master Events, the new 4K UHD unit features a full 12G UHD HDR signal chain centered on 12 cameras Grass Valley LDX 98.

This mobile unit has already been used successfully in various live productions in Greece and internationally. View Master Events, an experienced production company, manages the unit's operations and delivers complex live broadcasts with a focus on quality, flexibility and efficiency.

LDX 98 cameras support capture native 4K UHD with high dynamic range and wide color gamut, in compliance with standards ITU-R BT.2020. Its ability to operate in 1.5G, 3G and 12G workflows, combined with 3X and 6X super slow motion and simultaneous live and high-speed outputs, allows the production team to quickly adapt to different broadcast requirements. This flexibility reduces operational complexity and increases productivity, while maintaining superior image quality.

The system has been designed and integrated by Telmaco, Grass Valley partner in Greece for more than 25 years. Telmaco has provided the complete Grass Valley camera package and integration services, working closely with View Master Events to create a modern and scalable OB platform.
