‘La Garita’, with J.J. Vaquero and Álex Clavero, will take over from ‘La Revuelta’

RTVE, in collaboration with 100 Bullets (The Mediapro Studio), prepares ‘La Garita’, new format with the comedians J.J. Vaquero and Álex Clavero, who will play two security guards with free access to RTVE facilities in summer.

The program, conducted by one of the most followed duos by Stand Up Comedy lovers for their scratched humor, will take over from The revolt During the holidays of David Broncano and his team.

RTVE's halls, despite being summer, are always a hotbed of known faces with which J.J. Vaquero and Álex Clavero will maintain fortuitous encounters that will lead to situations of the most comic. During these months, the two guards, with some reluctance and a lot of free time, decide to equip their workplace with beta-cam and VHS video players, a plasma television and a comfortable sofa to vision everything that falls into their hands: the wide, valuable and diverse file of RTVE, to which they have free access.

Every night, oblivious to the audience, cowboy and carnation, involved in the skin of two boring guards, will review the programs that television has left in memory, with makeshift comments and sarcastic observations, without losing sight of small winks to the present.

The two Valladolid comedians, who currently star in the show It never rains to everyone's tasteThey have a long career in comedy. Vaquero, belonging to the Central Comedy quarry, has collaborated in the main television and radio chains of the country and has practically traveled the entire Spanish geography with its monologues. For his part, Clavero is the closest thing to an orchestra man: screenwriter, actor, comic, commentator, presenter, animator.
