RTVE premieres 'Literal', a multiplatform information program that will be seen on Playz

Emilio Doménech “Nanísimo” takes the lead of ‘Literal’, an analysis, dissemination and conversation program that will premiere on Playz (RTVE) and that will combine contrasted data, cultural references and personal testimonies.

Literal seeks to delve into the issues that mark the lives of millions of young people: the price of housing, mental health, the rise of individualism, the relationship between young people and politics, job insecurity, digital polarization, tourism or geopolitical tensions. Each episode, 45 minutes long, will seek to “go beyond the headline” to offer tools that allow us to understand the world with more context and less noise.

This RTVE production, in collaboration with The Voice Village, is committed to accessible language, without giving up rigor, and is especially aimed at new generations, increasingly exposed to overinformation and polarized discourse. Shot in the Eugenio Trías Public Library-Casa de Fieras of The Madrid Retreat, the program builds an atmosphere that invites you to stop, reflect and listen.

"Social networks are full of categorical sentences; everything is black or white. With Literal "We want to take risks and talk about the grays, invite our audience to reflect," explains Doménech. Along with him, participants Albanta San Román, writer, actress and content creator, who provides an emotional and generational perspective, and Alba Leiva, international analyst for The World Order, in charge of placing the issues in a global framework.

In addition, each installment incorporates a guest voice that expands the focus from different experiences and disciplines, such as the disseminator Erik Harley, that will address the housing problem; the traveler and influencer Enrique Alex, which will talk about the contradictions of contemporary tourism; the anthropologist and actress Candela Antón de Vez, which will analyze the relationship of young people with spirituality, and Alvaro Rivas, by the musical group Alcalá Norte, which will reflect on the price of festivals.

Literal It is designed for multi-platform distribution: every Tuesday, starting July 8, the Playz program can be seen on RTVE Play, on Playz's YouTube channel, as well as on its social networks, including its Instagram and TikTok channels. In addition, the program will be available on Spotify and, in its podcast version, on RNE Audio.
