Disguise launches X1, a portable version of Designer that allows you to create 4K content without media servers
The production engine Disguise is now available in software format through the new X1, allowing creators to run 4K visuals directly from their own laptops or hardware.
X1 offers users convenient and mobile access to classic Designer of Disguise, a tool used to preview, sequence and control shows top-notch around the world. The new portable solution has already been used at several live events, such as Bullet For My Valentine's performance at Rockfest Germany, the Napa Valley Festival or the US and Canadian legs of Central Cee's world tour.
X1 users will be able to connect their license key to your notebook computer to instantly access the latest version of Designer. The visual elements of the show can be imported into Designer from any graphical tool in real time, such as Notch, Unreal Engine, TouchDesigner o Unity, among others, thanks to the protocol RenderStream of Disguise.
To facilitate the arrival of new users to the Disguise ecosystem, X1 includes a ready-to-use content pack and in constant expansion, with effects of Notch y TouchDesigner High-impact visuals ranging from DJ-style visuals to beautiful motion looks, all created in-house by Disguise's creative services team. Each look is also will render as a high quality video ready to play seamlessly and loop, giving users maximum flexibility to elevate every show, however they decide to present their content.
X1 also allows you to preview content on a 3D mini replica of your stage or environment. Additionally, users will benefit from the Designer Timeline, a feature that allows schedule and edit all the visual elements needed to execute your show or live experience.
Other keys to Disguise X1 are its 1:1 redundancy and automatic failover, which allows users to always have uninterrupted playback in critical live environments; his 4K DCI video output for each license; the ability to move the X1 show file to a Disguise server, which allows production to be scaled; Integrations with leading tracking and automation systems, such as Kinesys, Tait Navigator y PSN; support for graphical tools such as Notch, TouchDesigner, Unreal Engine 5.5 y Unitand, and access to the same level of 24/7 support than other Disguise users.
