Arkona and Manifold will demonstrate the Blade//runner AT300 platform at IBC 2025
The technological partners Arkona y Manifold Technologies At IBC 2025, they will present their IP and multi-screen infrastructure solutions designed for mobile units, production control rooms, studios and electronic sports facilities.
At the fair they will demonstrate the platform Blade//runner AT300 from Arkona, which offers audio and video gateways, routing and signal processing, along with manifold Cloud, an ultra-low latency multiviewer and multimedia infrastructure platform. These solutions, which are being implemented around the world, are powered by EASY-IP, a co-designed platform that offers a fast and cost-effective path to IP adoption.
Erling Hedkvist, Head of Business Development at Arkona and Manifold, comments: "We are excited to share how our technology is actively shaping the future of live production. With adoption by global leaders in sports, entertainment and esports, our solutions are proving their worth in a wide range of real-world deployments."
The IBC arrives after a wave of important facilities in customers, including NEP's SS-10 Supershooter in the United States and ME-2 IP units in the Middle East. Both are equipped with NEP's Total Facility Control (TFC) broadcast coordination platform, offering a fully IP-based infrastructure supporting 1080p and HDR production. Other mobile installations include a suite of solutions for Cloudbass' two new IP remote production trucks. In the esports space, one of the world's largest developers and publishers is actively leveraging both Arkona and Aanifold for low-latency, globally distributed workflows. In entertainment, a music studio is opening in Los Angeles, California, with support from manifold CLOUD and arkona. And, in the UK, a major television network is integrating CLOUD manifolds into two large production control rooms.
At IBC 2025, Arkona will highlight improvements to Blade//runner, including its IP Audio (IPA) application, a dedicated audio mixer that allows native integration with MakeProX, Behringer and other control surfaces that use the HUI MIDI communications protocol. This integration enables seamless control of DSP and mixing functions to simplify workflows through an intuitive hardware interface.
A new JXS16 application for the Blade//runner AT300 platform expands capabilities to offer 16 channels of JPEG-XS encoding or decoding in a variety of configurations, including 16x encoding, 16x decoding, or 8x encoding + 8x decoding. Compatibility extends to UHD, 3G and HD for a maximum of 16 UHD per AT300. The application, which is the highest density JPEG-XS UHD codec solution on the market, can scale up to 128 UHD channels in just 3RU.
manifold will introduce new features to the European market for manifold CLOUD to expand its toolset and add support for Arkona's AT300 programmable acceleration card, resulting in native support for SDI and IP. Other notable features include UDX manifold for up-conversion, down-conversion and cross-conversion with broadcast quality UHD, 3G and HD video.
Sharing the spotlight is EASY-IP, a platform designed to provide a simple but future-proof replacement for broadcasters looking to upgrade or expand their existing SDI infrastructure. EASY-IP now offers new hard-panel control surfaces that provide users with direct control of routing and processing. These panels are available as an integrated offering with any EASY-IP solution.
