More than 40 companies will demonstrate the possibilities of an IP environment in 'IP Showcase' at IBC 2017

The 'IP Showcase' area at IBC 2017 will demonstrate that real-time IP production is a practical, flexible and effective reality that is advancing at high speed in major broadcast operations.

The area dedicated to demonstrating the possibilities of interoperability under the IP standard in broadcast environments will once again have a special role at IBC 2017.

At the moment, more than forty companies have already confirmed their presence in this area, revealing their IP solutions and the great advances that have been made to formalize and universally adopt the series of real-time IP signal flow standards under the SMPTE ST 2110 standard and a series of AMWA NMOS specifications.

This ecosystem is configured as a unique set of common IP interoperability standards and specifications that allow you to take advantage of the flexibility and efficiency of IP. The IP Showcase at IBC 2017, as it did last year, will demonstrate that real-time IP production is a practical, flexible and effective reality that advances at high speed in the main broadcast operations in terms of production signal flows, contribution and broadcast signal flows.

AES, AIMS, AMWA, EBU, IABM, MNA, SMPTE and VSF have coordinated with IBC to offer a single destination where everyone, from engineers to CEOs to producers, knows the full potential of using IP for the production and distribution of live content.
