Cinebot Nano expands MRMC motion control systems with ultra-portable solution

Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC) introduces Cinebot Nano, a motion control robot designed to make it “easier than ever” for independent filmmakers, content creators and production teams to access professional-quality camera movements.

He Cinebot Nano combines powerful features and great portability and simplicity. Weighing less than the standard limit for air luggage and packing compactly into just three cases (one arm case, one rail case, and one controls case), this nine-axis robotic arm system has been designed with creators shooting on location, in tight studios, or anywhere in between in mind.

Able to withstand a 7kg camera payload, with a range of 1 m and compatible with Tilta zoom and focus control, Cinebot Nano It has been designed for quick deployment and “effortless” setup, as it can be mounted on tripods, suction cupped to vehicles or even suspended upside down. The system easily adapts to a wide range of creative environments and comes mounted on a pedestal or a precision ball bearing track, where the robot can travel at 1 m per second.

Cinebot Nano is built around a simplified version of the software Flair Lite of MRMC. The system, like its Cinebot brothers, has Push Moco for basic keyframing, allowing for quick setup and quick execution “in minutes.”
