MRMC Braodcast RPS

Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC), a Nikon company, will be present from September 12 to 15, 2025 at IBC 2025 demonstrating two new solutions: the Cinebot Nano robotic arm and the RPS-LT mobile pedestal system.

Once again, MRMC will exhibit alongside Nikon y RED Digital Cinema and will highlight a powerful and unified vision for the future of film and television production. Building on the collaborative relationship between the companies, the exhibition will showcase a series of seamless workflows that demonstrate the combined power of MRMC robotics, Nikon imaging technologies and RED cinema cameras. This year's show will give attendees a first-hand look at how these integrated solutions are redefining what's possible in modern content creation, from high-end virtual production to dynamic live streaming.

This year, at the IBC, attendees will be able to visit an area dedicated to MRMC Broadcast shared with RED. This space will serve to present the new RPS-C2 (movable pedestal system) from MRMC with lifting column, and the latest addition, the RPS-LT, a variant with a robotic arm. It will also display the RLS (Rail Lift System) with robotic head AFC (Agile, Fast and Compact) mounted with a camera RED V-Raptor (X) using Phantom Track Recording mode, which will demonstrate how these track-based robots can be seamlessly integrated into dynamic virtual production workflows, powered by Disguise. He andimmersive environment will feature dynamic backgrounds with scenes that transition from day to night, showing the true power and flexibility of integrated solutions.

In addition, there will be practical demonstrations of the Slidekamera Orion Slider with multi-axis robotic head Bullhead Studio, and a section dedicated to robotics for sports broadcasts.

Flexibility with the RPS-LT

The new RPS-LT is a free moving robotic camera system latest generation equipped with the Studiobot LT compact 6-axis arm. Designed for high-end broadcast studios, this new system brings MRMC's core technology of robotic camera arm platforms to a mobile pedestal. With smooth motion, the RPS-LT allows broadcasters to easily capture dynamic camera angles that would otherwise be difficult to achieve with complete creative freedom.

A key selling point is the system LIDAR integrated system provided by SICK, which will provide MRMC's range of mobile pedestals with maximum precision in terms of positioning and safety. Intelligent choreography and integrated collision avoidance system ensure that multiple units can operate safely within a studio with fluid movement. He MRMC RPS represents a product-defining evolution, based on the need to solve common problems experienced with many free mobile pedestal offerings currently on the market. Specifically, the MRMC RPS has three steering wheels, each with two drive wheels designed to offer perfectly balanced power. With the option to pair with a teleprompter, broadcasters can maintain a seamless on-camera presentation while staying fully immersed in the creative process.

MRMC - Cinebot Nano

Cinebot Nano

For the first time at IBC, the motion control area will present the new Cinebot Nano, a compact nine-axis motion control robot designed for independent filmmakers and content creators. With a payload of 7 kilos, a range of one meter and speeds of up to one meter per second, the Cinebot Nano offers smooth, repeatable movements in small studios or remote locations. The system stores neatly in three suitcases, without exceeding airline baggage limits.

Cinebot Nano works with the Flair Lite simplified software from MRMC, offering an intuitive interface that eliminates complexity without compromising creative precision. The system also has keyframing Push Moco.

Along with the new Cinebot Nano will be its older brothers, the Cinebot Mini and the Cinebot Max. This immersive interactive showcase will highlight the power of motion control and robotic precision in professional content creation, and IBC attendees will have the opportunity to try out and interact with the Cinebots, filming objects in the booth. RED Komodo cameras will be mounted on the Cinebots for the demonstration.

Assaff Rawner, CEO of MRMC, says: "We are looking forward to IBC 2025 and being back in Amsterdam, especially with these new flagship products. The Cinebot Nano and RPS-LT show how we continue to evolve our technologies to meet the needs of our customers in the film and television industries."
