Studio Extreme

Disguise has been associated with Nikon and its subsidiary MRMC to develop the 'Studio Extreme' space at CES 2025 (Las Vegas, January 7-11, 2025) that aims to demonstrate the ease with which it is possible to create everything from live social broadcasts to professional advertisements in a turnkey virtual production studio.

Studio Extreme will take participants to a immersive journey. Upon entering the space, the visitor will be transported to a place on the outskirts of Las Vegas, where they will have to present a live report. But will they be prepared for all the weather conditions that Las Vegas has to offer?

Designed for brands looking to tell impactful stories through immersive content, the experience will use Studio Pro by Disguise, a pre-configured solution that combines the most advanced virtual production technology with creative and technical services, including 24/7 support, training and installation.

Alexandra Coulson, vice president of marketing at Disguise, comments: "We've helped deliver 400 virtual production studios in over 100 countries and know how transformative they can be for brands. Traditionally, however, LED technology required significant training and upfront investment, so it was reserved for Hollywood studios. We're changing that. Together with Nikon and MRMC, we're showcasing the possibilities at CES 2025. Attendees will experience first-hand how they can wear the “His brand story to the next level, producing a versatile content offering with our comprehensive power solution, Studio Pro.”

The technology behind Studio Extreme

In addition to Studio Pro, the virtual production studio will also feature Studio Bot LT (MRMC's most compact camera robotic arm solution), a camera RED Komodo 6K, various lighting systems Flo Cinema and spatial audio

“MRMC Broadcast is proud to lead the development of robotic camera solutions alongside the continued growth of virtual production technologies,” says Amanda Dixon, recognizes the Deputy Marketing Director of MRMC. "The activation of Studio Extreme at CES will be a fantastic demonstration of how broadcast studios can seamlessly integrate robotics solutions into their virtual and augmented reality workflows while providing precise, repeatable motion. We are thrilled to once again work with Disguise to deliver this immersive experience."
