Disney returns to DTT thanks to an agreement with RTVE
RTVE y Disney reach a strategic agreement that will materialize in the enrichment of Clan's children's offering with content recognized for its "quality, creativity and pedagogical approach."
This alliance takes its first steps with the premiere of a programming block of Disney Junior in Clan. From October 31, this new space will include emblematic titles such as Mickey Mouse's house, Spidey and his super team, Superkitties o Doc McStuffins, among others, offering quality entertainment for children. This slot can be enjoyed on the children's channel of RTVE from monday to sunday twice a day and reinforces the network's commitment to offering quality content for its preschool audience.
The director of Spanish Television, Sergio Calderon, points out that “in public television we are experiencing a change of cycle and, as our claim Today, we are “Unstoppable”. And on this new path, we want to be everyone's TV, including the little ones in the house. By integrating the Disney Junior offer into our programming, we offer Clan a great window for new generations to grow hand in hand with these endearing characters and the values they transmit.” For its part, Yago Fandiño, director of children's content at RTVE, considers that "the arrival of the Disney Junior block to Clan means completing what, today, is the best preschool offer on free-to-air Spanish television. Spanish families are increasingly concerned not only about what their sons and daughters watch, but also about how and where they watch it. And that is the main objective of Clan: the best content on safe and free platforms for everyone."
From Disney Channel Iberia, Vincent Sourdeau, vice president of programming and purchasing, comments that “we are delighted to collaborate with RTVE to bring our Disney Junior universe to Clan.” "This new programming block reinforces our commitment to the preschool audience in Spain, and offers content that combines entertainment, creativity and quality. Series such as Spidey y Mickey Mouse's house They are just a sample of the type of stories we want to share with families every day,” explains the executive.
