Atresmedia and 7 y Acción produce 'Image Hunters'

Photographer Gotzon Mantuliz embarks with several celebrities on an expedition to the most remote corners of the planet to capture images of wild animals in the wild in 'Image Hunters', a format of Atresmedia y 7 and Action now available in Atresplayer and soon in prime time on Antena 3.

In each installment, Mantuliz will travel through spectacular landscapes accompanied by a well-known guest to experience a unique expedition, in which observation, patience and connection with nature will be the keys to achieving an unrepeatable image. Winner of the fifth edition of The Challenge in Antenna 3 and of The Conqueror of the end of the world At EITB, Mantuliz has demonstrated a unique blend of physical strength, discipline and charisma. In addition, he has been a presenter and commentator on the Safari Wazungu program on EITB and a collaborator in various media.

Image Hunters consists of 6 episodes, each focused on an iconic animal that represents a unique challenge for photography. From the tiger shark on a remote island Maldives until the anaconda in Brazil, each species presents its own obstacles, forcing the team to deploy all their expertise and determination.

Throughout the season, Gotzon and his guest will travel to some of the most spectacular places on the planet, such as Brazil, Maldives, Alaska or Uganda, facing the challenge of portraying animals as majestic as gorillas or the Iberian lynx. The space offers the viewer a different television experience, full of action, beauty and respect for nature.

Arturo Valls will accompany Mantuliz in the Spanish forests to search for the Iberian lynx, while Mamen Mendizábal will travel to the Maldives to confront the bull shark. Silvia Abril will dive among mobula manta rays in Baja California, in an experience as fun as it is extreme; Miguel Angel Muñoz you will explore the Brazilian jungle in search of the jaguar and the anaconda; Mario Vaquerizo will live with gorillas in Uganda, and Patricia Conde You will travel to Alaska to come face to face with wild bears. The final reward of each expedition will be to publish the image captured in the magazine National Geographic.
