'Oasis', the new Netflix original series produced with Bambú, enters the post-production phase
Created by Ramón Campos, Jon de la Cuesta Olaizola, Javier Chacártegui Horrach, David Orea Arribas and Ricardo Jornet Gallego, the new series of Netflix, 'Oasis', produced with Bamboo ('The Cable Girls', 'Fariña' or 'The Asunta Case'), filming ends in Tenerife.
The production has the executive produced by Gema R. Neira, Jon de la Cuesta and David Pinillos, and is set in the most luxurious vacation resort in the country. Oasis portrays a paradise reserved for the wealthiest families: private beaches, VIP facilities and impenetrable security. But the perfect summer is cut short when the police burst into the complex to investigate a mysterious disappearance. In such an exclusive place, everyone is a suspect... and no one can leave until the truth is discovered. The cast is led by Ana Garcés (The Promise), Tomy Aguilera (Welcome to Eden) and Victoria Kantch (for your dead).
Ramon Campos, producer of the series, highlights that “when we started Oasis I told the Netflix team that I wanted to make a series for my daughters, who are 14 years old. A story that talks about what they are experiencing now: friendship, secrets, doubts, the first decisions that begin to define you. Mystery is a vehicle. Oasis It is my way of telling them: I see you, I understand this moment and I want to tell something that really speaks to you.”
For its part, Gema R. Neira, recognizes that "it is beautiful to work with such a young, talented and enthusiastic cast. Seeing them grow and enjoy the experience is a gift. In addition, they are accompanied by actors with great experience who provide that more adult counterpoint. It is the best possible cast for a project that combines the aspirational with the thriller."
Filmed entirely in Tenerife, Oasis takes advantage of the visual magnetism of the island landscape and combines it with the pace and tension of a contemporary thriller.
