Czech TV integrates Harmonic's XOS processor to improve its streaming

The XOS advanced multimedia processor Harmonic (company whose video business has been acquired by MediaKind) allows the public broadcaster Czech TV move transcoding operations in-house, resulting in more efficient and stable streaming workflows.

The multimedia processor XOS de Harmonic Leverages a cloud-native foundation of encryption technology EyeQ based on AI and a complete set of functions reproduction and delivery to improve Czech Television video streaming and support delivery via mobile devices, web applications and HbbTV. Through this system, Czech television can generate multiple video profiles, add subtitles e insert logos for emerging channels, increasing audience engagement and improving the viewing experience. The XOS multimedia processor also provides Czech TV audio mixing capabilities for the delivery of descriptive audio for audiences with disabilities.
