SETT participates for the first time in Integrated Systems Europe
The Spanish Society for Technological Transformation (SET) participates, for the first time, in Integrated Systems Europe (WHEREAS), at Fira Barcelona from February 3 to 6, where he will present the progress of the Spain Audiovisual Hub Plan for Europe (Spain Audiovisual Hub).
For this, the Spanish Society for Technological Transformation (SET), attached to the Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Service, will have its own space, from which it will develop an extensive program of activities focused on the technological and innovation challenges posed by audiovisuals. The objective is to tap the latest trends in the industry and continue supporting it from the instruments offered by Spain Audiovisual Hub, a successful initiative promoted within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, which is in its second phase of development.
The SETT will play an active role in disseminating the latest news in the sector, in addition to offering information on its investment instruments for companies and startups. He will participate in the opening events of ISE 2026, which brings together unique voices and opinion leaders in technology and creativity on Tuesday, February 3 Maria Gonzalez Veracruz, head of the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence (SEDIA), the body that develops the Spain Audiovisual Hub plan, and will intervene in the opening of the Investor Forum.
Also participate in this forum Maria Coronado, director of Audiovisual of the SETT, together with EU organizations and the Generalitat of Catalonia, to give details of the public financial support tools of the SETT. An essential opportunity to learn in depth about the possibilities offered by the Spain Audiovisual Hub and the projects that have already become a reality thanks to its support.
In this same central area of Congress, in this case, in the Pitching Stage, ISE matchmaking area, SETT will hold the round table 'The audiovisual industry and techno-creative convergence' on the afternoon of the 5th, which will feature the participation of relevant actors such as Jose Luis Navarro, consultor tecnológico y CEO de Lito & Company; Belén Santa-Olalla Sancho, creative director of Stroke114; Daniel Sánchez Mateos, digital entertainment consultant and Pilar Sáyans Moreno, founder and CEO of True Story. In addition, SETT sponsors the hackathon which takes place at the fair from February 5 to 6, supporting the talent of its participants, teams of students who, for two days, will collaborate to address real challenges in the areas of sustainability, innovation and cybersecurity.
At the stand, located in the central aisle (5A300), there will be no shortage of presentations and pitching sessions with the latest audiovisual trends. From the challenges of the world of esports, with Max Dalmau by Team Heretics, or a conversation with the composer and producer Ron Thaler, which will address 360 immersive sound experiences; the applications of AI in audiovisual production with Felipe Jimenez Luna; or the evolution of the sector from the expert of the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), Elena Neira. They will also intervene Patricia M. Val, which will delve into the cutting edge of immersive content; and Borja Diaz-Merry Rivas, on the application of technologies in news verification.
