The Mexican hit 'Gift Table' will have a second part with social expectations at the center of the plot

Filming begins on ‘Gift Table 2. And the baby when?’, a sequel produced by The Mediapro Studio, Pampa Films y Glory of the world of which was the highest-grossing Mexican film of 2025.

Noé Santillán-López returns to direct a film in which Cassandra Sánchez-Navarro y José Eduardo Derbez they resume their characters as Antonia and Nicolás, who try to enjoy their life as newlyweds while their environment begins to fill with expectations, social pressure and many babies. The cast is completed again with Gustavo Egelhaaf, Verónica Bravo, Iran Castillo, Ariel López Padilla, Nicolasa Ortíz Monasterio and Daniel Tovar, in addition to Diana Bovio, Tato Alexander y Ana, Layevska, who add to the story.

Gift table 2. And when is the baby due? will show how Antonia receives a unique job opportunity, for which only one small detail seems to be missing: being pregnant. Determined not to be left behind, she chooses to fake a pregnancy, dragging Nicolás into a simulacrum of parental life that will lead them to face commitments, chaos and emotions typical of future parents, putting their relationship to the test and leading them to rethink what it really means to take the next step.
