Christie equips Pang Dong Lai's new premium cinemas with 2K and 4K laser technology
The new Pang Dong Lai Christie.
When evaluating which projectors might be most suitable for your first multiplex outside of Xuchang, Pang Dong Lai prioritized technology with the goal of creating a premium viewing experience. After studying the market, the company's technical management opted for the series Christie CineLife+, which stood out for its color reproduction, image precision and effective speckle control. Specifically, the models were installed CP4435-RGB y CP2420-RGB, equipped with Real|Laser lighting, as well as projectors CP2411-RBe with Phazer lighting.
Equipped with the Christie Electronic Processing Series 4, CineLife+ series projectors seek to bring advanced projection performance, previously reserved for large-format theaters, to more modest auditoriums. Fully compatible with DCI, projectors support 2D and 3D content with a resolution of up to 4K at 120 frames per second.
Since opening at the end of December 2025, Pang Dong Lai Xinxiang Cinema multiplexes have rapidly gained popularity, ranking among the 10 cinemas with the highest grossing daily in Henan province, which has more than 650 salas. James Li, Executive Director of Christie's China Film Business, celebrates the success of the project: "We are delighted to collaborate with Pang Dong Lai on this important project. By choosing Christie's CineLife+ series, Pang Dong Lai is setting a new benchmark for film presentation in Henan province. This collaboration reflects our shared vision of bringing next-generation film experiences to mainstream cinemas, and we look forward to supporting Pang Dong Lai in his expansion into the entertainment sector."
