Brainstorm addresses component crisis by improving efficiency with Suite 7
The transversal improvement in performance marks the new version of Suite 7 (InfinitySet, Aston and Edison), which will be presented globally at the stand of Brainstorm at the fair NAB 2026 (April 19-22, Las Vegas)
Suite 7 brings together important advances in functionality and productivity, channeling functions of great versatility and power from a single local workstation. In the words of Miguel Churruca, Director of Marketing and Communications at Brainstorm: "In response to our users, our goal with Suite 7 revolves around efficiency and workflows. The new functionalities will make users' lives easier when creating the most advanced virtual content, regardless of the application."
The version 7 of the development of Brainstorm focuses on the efficiency and flexibility of hardware and software. The solution takes advantage of dual GPU workstations, which boosts performance single license while minimizing hardware footprint and energy costs. It does so by including the most outstanding solutions from the Spanish developer: InfinitySet, virtual production solution, XR and AR; Aston, that provides 2D and 3D motion graphics in real time, and Edison, a path to immersive virtual and AR live events. These applications can run on eStudio, Brainstorm's acclaimed rendering engine, also updated as part of Suite 7.
The new version of the suite also improves interoperability between the rendering engine Brainstorm eStudio y Unreal, which translates, once again, into highly efficient performance. In a virtual studio, for example, you can introduce three cameras, composite them with Unreal, and generate all three outputs simultaneously on a single workstation. Alternatively, the architecture could be used for scaling scenarios or for multiple AR objects. on a single rendering node from a single hardware device.
Improvements to InfinitySet, Edison and Aston
In Suite 7, both InfinitySet as Aston enjoy a better interoperability and have new management functions videowalls, including advanced options for component graphics, such as animated presets and template interaction logic. Additionally, the tool now includes 360˚ output by rendering, paving the way for content intended for virtual glasses. In addition to new features such as QuickStart y Teleporter for automatic talent tracking with 4K cameras, Edison now has a version lite call Eddie, which is specifically oriented to the educational field.
"Virtual environments, including augmented reality, are a fundamental part of production for broadcast, film, live events and the audiovisual sector. With Suite 7 we are unleashing creativity by providing artists and designers with the tools they need, which are responsive, fast in output and represent a significant step towards sustainability," he concludes. Churruca.
