Suite 6, the latest version of InfinitySet, Aston and eStudio, will focus all eyes on the proposal Brainstorm to NAB 2024, which brings to Las Vegas its purpose of continuing to explore all the possibilities of the areas of virtual production, real-time 3D graphics, news workflows and immersive presentations.
Brainstorm will demonstrate all the possibilities of Suite 6 through a demo focused on a program elections. This staging will combine virtual production in InfinitySet using Unreal Engine 5 with “industry-only” features such as multiple scenes, actor teleportation and AR graphics, including a transparent touch screen, which allows 3D graphics to be displayed in context and provides additional control of the show by the presenters.
The main demo will also feature a collaboration with XD Motion, an international company expert in aerial filming and multidimensional tracking solutions based on innovative gyro-stabilized systems. Likewise, in this showcase the new capabilities will be shown Dual-GPU from InfinitySet, which allow you to control the entire demo with a single workstation, taking care of the virtual production with set extension and color correction, camera inputs, AR graphics and interactive graphics, among other functions such as extra-render in real time and set extension with color-matching 3D LUTs, AR motion graphics in context, fully immersive actor teleportation, multi-background content and more. InfinitySet 6 also supports SMPTE 2110, thus demonstrating its ability to work with the latest issuance workflows.
In parallel, Brainstorm will focus on Aston, which can provide designers with the most advanced tools for data-driven and context-driven AR graphics, which can be displayed in immersive virtual environments (including UEI scenes) and interact with the scene and actors; Neuron, Brainstorm's graphics and traffic management solution updated to be based on HTML5, opening the door to more flexible integration with a variety of digital newsroom operating solutions, including Octopus, Ethereum or Snews; the ecosystem Edison, including products such as EdisonGO (capture environment that provides video and tracking information from an iPad) or Edison OnDemand (solution to facilitate the playback of a presentation in an immersive environment from a web browser), and new collaborations with companies such as Accuweather, Etere, Snews, Telycam y XD Motion, further expanding the already extensive ecosystem of collaborating companies.
Ricardo Montesa, CEO and founder of Brainstorm, states that the company is delighted to “exhibit at NAB” in order to “demonstrate the incredible possibilities that our range of products offers any content creator to produce the best virtual content possible.” “Now that virtual production is increasingly common in broadcast and film, Brainstorm can help its users thanks to the company's decades of experience in virtual production, real-time 3D graphics and immersive presentations,” he stressed.
