Wowza - Video Intelligence Framework - NAB 2026

With this development, the aim is to reduce a common gap in the monetization and marketing of content: as the company itself points out, metadata “usually arrive too late or inconsistently”, which makes it difficult to “capture and monetize” the most valuable moments of live video.

By operating directly in the live streaming workflow, the Video Intelligence Framework shortens the path from live event to monetizable inventory, he usable content and the derived business value. To achieve this, the tool extract frames of live broadcasts, sends them to AI models for processing and converts the results into products that downstream systems can use immediately. In this way, they are quickly generated metadata, webhooks, overlays, tags, thumbnails, clips and other readable events by the machines.

The framework also offers flexibility organizations in the way of applying the IA. Teams can use their own models and tailor workflows to the specific content and output formats your operations require.

The technology of Wow can be applied in processes of contextual advertising and activation of advertising breaks, identifying cut-off points and highlighting the most relevant visual context; in it tagging, metadata and clip generation of live videos, and in the creation of summaries and reports scouting, two key areas for sporting contexts.
