Tras el éxito de su canal de entretenimiento A+ dirigido a una audiencia panafricana, el grupo francés Canal+ lanzará el próximo 9 de febrero un nuevo canal generalista con un marcado acento africano. Este canal permitirá a los productores africanos exhibir sus producciones fuera del continente ya que el nuevo canal emitirá en Francia.

Canal+ 在短短两年内将非洲用户数量翻了一番，在非洲大陆的 30 个国家/地区拥有 200 万用户。非洲聚集了该集团近一半的国际订阅用户（550 万），已成为大型传播集团关注的大陆，从现在到 2025 年，讲法语的人数将增加两倍，达到 7.5 亿，其中 85% 来自非洲。

Canalsat 平台的订户每月只需支付 4 欧元即可使用新频道，该频道包含在“非洲”套餐中，该套餐还包括 Nollywood 和 A+ 频道。

另一方面，Canal+ 正在推广名为 Easy TV 的 DTT 产品，该产品将由 30 个专为非洲大陆设计的频道组成。
