In this edition, which will take place from July 4 to 8, the “Bridge between Las Artes” 2017 Award will be received by Patricia Urquiola and Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón.
The V International Film and Architecture Festival (Ficarq) repeats headquarters in Santander from July 4 to 8.
Ficarq 2017, for the fifth consecutive year, seeks to deepen the connection between architectural and audiovisual discourse from an artistic, rigorous and creative field. The architecture relies on the cinema as a basis for its creations, while the cinema uses the architecture so that the director plays at will with a space, a time and a movement.

Urquiola will receive the prize for his excellent works in the fields of design, architecture and creative direction, which have placed him at the top of the international ladder. For its part, the festival stands out from Gutiérrez Aragón his impeccable work as a screenwriter and writer and the role that his figure in Spain's audiovisual history represents.
