CincoMAS, the international channel of Mediaset España, begins its regular broadcasts in Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Ecuador
With penetration in the American market that already extends to Argentina and Panama, the channel is expanding to new territories thanks to a distribution agreement with Claro Tv.
CincoMAS, Mediaset España's international channel designed for Spanish-speaking viewers in America, has signed a distribution agreement with ClaroTV, making its signal available in four new territories: Peru, Chile, Paraguay and Ecuador.
The channel is thus added to the catalog offered in these countries by the satellite and fiber operator Claro TV and among its contents, viewers will be able to enjoy the leading information offer in Spain, Informativos Telecinco, as well as the greatest hits of Spanish fiction or Mediaset España's own productions.
Yolanda Giordani, head of CincoMAS, assures that "the incorporation of CincoMAS to the channel offering offered by Claro TV is a great stimulus for Mediaset España. Our international channel reaches Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Ecuador to contribute positively to the wide range of content presented by the largest pan-regional operator in the Latin American market. Our incorporation is a great step, the first of many that we are going to take hand in hand with this partner."
With penetration in the American market that already reaches six territories (Argentina, Panama, Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Paraguay), CincoMAS will soon extend its signal to large territories such as the United States, Canada, Mexico and Colombia. The network is established as Mediaset España's most international commitment to bring its most successful programs and series in our country to the Spanish-speaking community throughout the American continent. A leading audience programming uninterruptedly for 12 years distributed in high definition, using the SES 6 and SES 1 satellites, which ensures excellent coverage in all countries on the continent and which will be part of the channel offering of the main cable and satellite operators in each region.
Claro TV operates in 14 countries on the continent: Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Since its formation in September 2000, this Mexican company has successfully and solidly expanded its presence, driving a strong acceleration in subscriber growth and, consequently, penetration in almost all the countries where it operates.
