Telestream Prism Audio

The latest software release designed by Telestream for the Prism family of waveform monitors adds new audio solutions with on UHD productions.

Thanks to this update, Prism, a tool aimed at video engineering, operations, live acquisition and event production and post production, can now monitor 32-channel audio compatible with 4K and 8K. In order to benefit from these workflows, users must purchase a new software license key.

Prism’s new features also include extensive audio support for IP environments, including 2110-30 and 2110-31, both of which support compressed Dolby audio; local headphone and speaker output via IP-to-SDI conversion with 5.1 / 7.1 downmix; Dolby D/D+ and Dolby E decoding with Dolby status support; and RTW surround display.

Support for international standards

This software update also offers support for international loudness standards for worldwide compliance. The tool features adjustable loudness monitoring threshold alarms and alerts and simultaneous measurement and display of Lissajous.
