MTV Winter in high definition and 3D

Mediapro records the concert offered in the City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia with a team of thirty professionals.

Some 38,000 people gathered in Valencia to attend the second edition of MTV Winter, which featured performances by the Scottish band Franz Ferdinand, the British Starsailor, the Swedes Mando Diao and the Valencian group Polock. A team of 30 professionals from the Mediapro group worked on the high-definition audiovisual production of the concert. To do this, they had technical means such as a mobile HD unit equipped with a dozen cameras, two tracking shots, two hot heads,... The sound unit of CLS, a company of the Mediapro group based in Portugal, was in charge of digital recording for MTV, with four bands in digital multitrack, and a fiber optic stage box. The mobile audio unit also allowed the group's technician Franz Ferdinand to remix four songs at once in the same setting.
On the other hand, Mediapro carried out the recording of the making of in 3D, thus testing the possibilities of stereoscopy in real-time recordings within a framework such as the big MTV concert.
