Filmax bets on the XpanD system for its 3D cinemas

XpanD technology, with Christie projection and Doremi server, pillars of the group's new three-dimensional rooms.

xpandCines Filmax continues its evolution by incorporating 3D in its theaters. In a first phase, next Friday, April 3, the Filmax Gran Vía cinema in Barcelona will inaugurate a room with 3D digital projection for the premiere of the film Monsters vs. Aliens. In a next phase, 3D will be incorporated in the Filmax A Coruña and Filmax Castelldefels cinemas. For the adaptation of its cinemas, Filmax has trusted the XpanD system with active glasses, Christie projectors and Doremi servers.
