Fifty international companies have been interested in the Galician audiovisual offer present from March 30 to April 3 at the MIPTV in Cannes through fourteen companies gathered under the umbrella of the Galician Audiovisual Cluster. The CLAG business delegation in the International Audiovisual and Digital Content Market, MIPTV, has been made up of Abano Produciones, Continental, CTV, Ficción, Filmanova, Intercción, Isabella Audiovisual, Dygra Films, Voz Audiovisual, TV7, TVG, Adivina, Perro Verde Films and Milú Films. In total, 246 contacts have been established with international companies to negotiate agreements on a total of 33 productions, including fiction series, animation, documentaries, entertainment formats, film catalogs for exploitation on the small screen,... As an example of the degree of acceptance of Galicia's audiovisual offer, managers from nearly fifty companies and more than two hundred professionals passed by the CLAG stand these days. European television channels, such as Eurochannel; distributors such as Sony Pictures; top-level training centers, such as EMC, Entertainment Master Class; or directors of national and regional TV channels contacted the Galician businessmen at the Cluster stand.

As a result of these professional meetings, Galicia could be part of the circuit of European cities in which EMC teaches a master's degree on TV formats in five modules, once CLAG analyzes the viability of this project. Isabella Audiovisual reached an agreement in principle with two Australian production companies, December Films and Nach Box Pictures, to participate as co-producers in the social documedia For John Sake, from TV7, in which Australia's second largest television channel, FBS, was also interested. Voz Audiovisual contacted companies in Belgium and Germany that could be interested in covering Father Casares and searched for content for its DTT. Continental reached an agreement with the production company Bavaria to distribute Connection and Perro Verde focused the negotiations on the project Wrinkles.

For the first time, CLAG has participated this year with its own stand at MIPTV, offering Galician companies a corporate space, with the necessary equipment for the promotion of Galician audiovisuals and the celebration of business contacts between Galician businessmen and professionals attending the market. The initiative is part of CLAG's internationalization plan with the aim of favoring the conditions for the foreign promotion of the sector, making available a service infrastructure that facilitates the visibility of Galician companies and the work of marketing their productions.
