Christie expands its Matrix WU series
Specially designed for high-performance simulation, the new Matrix WU2, WU5 and WU12 projectors offer true WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution.
Christie has expanded its popular series of Christie Matrix 3-chip DLP projectors with the introduction of the new Christie Matrix WU series. Designed to meet high-performance simulation needs, the Christie Matrix WU2, WU5 and WU12 models offer true WUXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution. With increased resolution, flexibility and power for system solutions, the new Christie Matrix projectors offer greater image detail to meet the demands of simulation applications in the maritime, flight and air traffic control sectors.
Purpose-built to meet even today's toughest simulation display needs, the Christie Matrix WU series offers proven 3-chip DLP technology and a low maintenance 650,000 hour Mean Time Between Failure for the Digital Micromirror Device (DMD). The Christie Matrix WU series is available in 2,400, 5,100, and 12,000 ANSI lumens and includes AccuFrame, which eliminates image artifacts and distortion when working in high-speed simulation. Excellent color, brightness consistency, and display control provide cost-effective solutions for the same simulation display needs.
The Christie Matrix WU2 and WU5 models use a Color Purity Filter (CPF) to enable excellent color saturation and color matching. Additionally, Christie SuperCR technology, which offers a contrast ratio of up to 2000:1, delivers superior black levels for unmatched image blending both day and night.
The new Christie Matrix Series WUXGA models come with standard features such as Christie Twist for image warping and edge fading, RGB color matching, full gamma curve control, and grayscale tracking. They also include the industry-first Christie AccuFrame, which significantly reduces visual artifacts caused by fast-moving objects. With high input bandwidth and less than one frame of propagation delay, projection systems are suitable for many applications and are also an ideal solution for replacing CRT systems.
