Mitsubishi Electric WD3300U and XD3200U: high-brightness projectors
With these 4,000 and 4,500 lumen models comes the era of ecological projectors with functions that allow significant energy savings. The lamp can be easily changed from the side of the device.
The new definition of comfort with all the properties of superior image quality comes from the new WD3300U and XD3200U multimedia projectors from Mitsubishi Electric. The Japanese brand, in addition to incorporating cutting-edge technology to offer a high-luminosity image, has created a range of intelligent and ecological projectors that help to significantly reduce maintenance costs and reduce energy consumption, thus protecting the environment.
Mitsubishi has achieved that the WD3300U and the XD3200U reduce consumption in standby mode to less than 1W and in normal or on mode it is less than 2W. They also have a lamp temperature control system that allows the life of the light source to be extended up to 4000 hours. These long-lasting lamps in turn mean significant reductions in total maintenance costs, thus reducing the frequency of lamp replacement. Lamp, which can be easily replaced from the side so there is no need to uninstall and rotate the projector when placed on a shelf or hanging from the ceiling. The center lens design makes installation easy as you only need to align the projector lens with the center of the screen. The top cap features an opening around the lens, an advanced feature that makes it possible to change the lens without having to remove the entire top cap.
intense colors
The WD3300U and XD3200U projectors have the Brilliant Color system and a 5-segment color wheel, but in addition, the Japanese brand has incorporated selective lamp modulation techniques that intelligently reproduce colors that increase the intensity and vitality of the entire screen.
The modulation of the lamp allows, in presentation mode, the intensity of the light to be increased for the white and yellow segments of the color wheel, emphasizing the bright colors with a greater number of shades. Likewise, in auto mode, the light intensity increases the RGB segment on the color wheel, guaranteeing ample brightness throughout the reproduction of vivid and intense colors.
The WD3300U and XD3200U feature a significant fan noise reduction of just 26 dBA (with the lamp in low mode). The air duct design has been improved so that fan noise does not interfere with air intake. As a result, viewers can enjoy presentations and lectures without the distraction of projector noise. To prevent dust from easily accumulating on the color wheel sensors, in the new models the sensor is located in the rotating motor housing, which is fully protected, making it more difficult for dust to accumulate on the sensor.
