Penthouse, Europe's first adult channel in HD

Broadcasting through Eurobird 9A (9ºEast), currently free-to-air by promotion, Penthouse HD has started its broadcast for adults in high definition.

Penthouse HDThe first European channel for adults in high definition is now a reality. In the end, it will not be Hustler TV on Hot Bird as they had announced, but Penthouse Digital Media Productions with Penthouse HD, the first European commercial channel for adults in HD. The channel that already broadcasts free-to-air with soft content, for the duration of the promotion period, through Eurobird 9A to 9º East, will begin its broadcast in encrypted once it has finalized the first agreements with the European distribution platforms. PentHouse HD broadcasts in DVB-S2 with MPEG-4 encoding.

Penthouse contará con tres canales en alta definición: Penthouse HD (programación ligera pensada para el mercado británico y alemán), Penthouse HD1 y Penthouse HD2 (con contenidos pornográficos).
