FreeSpeak 2.0 and Tempest 2400, two intercom systems from Clear-Com at IBC'09
The two digital wireless intercom systems, FreeSpeak, now in version 2.0, and Tempest2400, Clear-Com's main novelties at IBC'09.
The latest version of the popular FreeSpeak digital intercom system, which provides full-duplex communication, antenna-to-antenna roaming and low latency, will be the focus of those passing by the Clear-Com booth at IBC'09. Version 2.0 now allows any user to talk to any other user at any time without even a second of delay. As for the base, in just one rack unit it is capable of controlling up to 20 beltpacks, which can be controlled on site or remotely. One aspect to highlight is that by working in the 1.8-1.9 GHz band, annoying interference in wireless microphones, earpieces or in the PCs themselves is avoided.
The other novelty will be Tempest 2400, a solution designed to provide intercom service for live events, mainly sports. Interference-proof, even in crowded stadiums and with RF saturation, the equipment can also work on Wi-Fi networks, providing stability to communication.
