ViewCast Niagara 2120: Internet video based on H.264 and Adobe Flash
ViewCast introduces Niagara 2120, a low-cost, easy-to-use platform for H.264 streaming via Adobe Flash.
Those companies or chains looking for a low-cost plug-and-play platform for streaming their video content over the Internet now have the Niagara 2120 platform. It is aimed at corporate environments that require a video streaming platform through company networks or over the Internet. With full H.264 support, ViewCast allows Niagara 2120 to take full advantage of Adobe Flash technology, bringing high quality video to the user over the Internet.
In this solution we can, in fact, find many of the features implemented in ViewCast streaming media encoders, although logically its configuration and operation have been simplified. The user simply has to set the desired streaming parameters through the Web interface and start one or more streams simultaneously from the front panel by simply pressing the “Stream” button.
Thanks to H.264 support and Adobe's Flash platform, this high-performance streaming solution allows you to operate with a wide range of bandwidth to elevate the quality and impact of video on the Internet. It comes standard with ViewCast SimulStream technology, which allows a single video source to output multiple streams simultaneously at multiple resolutions and bitrates with each stream being configured differently for laptops, mobile phones or other devices. The solution also includes ViewCast Niagara SCX management software. Regarding its connectivity, the incoming signal can be in component, composite video, S/C (S-Video) with balanced stereo audio.
