TebasDVR: multi-channel ingestion and storage

Techex has presented TebasDVR for the Iberian market, a multichannel ingestion and storage platform for recording audio and video signals.

Techex has started the marketing for Spain and Portugal of TebasDVR, a multi-channel ingestion and storage system for the recording and management of audio and video signals. TebasDVR proposes an architecture based on the most recent technologies and a client-server solution with MPEG-4 H264 DSP encoding that guarantees maximum system performance. Using the TebasDVR client, you have access to viewing the channels that the server is recording, control of the signal matrix, a complete task planner for both recording and content management and an editing tool with an easy-to-use interface, which will allow us to produce new content from the recorded videos.

Additionally, the user has access to DVD authoring with which they will obtain a wide range of publishing possibilities. The TebasDVR family is made up of a series of server options that adapt to different user needs in terms of number of channels. All systems have 3 TB storage with more than 6,000 hours of video at a compression rate of 1 Mbps (MPEG4), or 1,200 hours at 5 Mbits (MEPG2).

Four models

The Tebas DVR system comes in four models: Tebas DVR 400 (four video channels and eight stereo audio channels), Tebas DVR 800 (eight video channels and eight stereo audio channels), Tebas DVR 1200 (twelve video channels and sixteen stereo audio channels) and Tebas DVR 1600 (sixteen video channels and as many audio channels).

TebasDVR is thus presented as a tool for recording, editing and publishing content on DVD, web or
mobile devices, reliable, scalable and with the best cost effectiveness.
