'I have a question for you': a new technical challenge for TVE

Tonight one of the most complex technical execution spaces returns to TVE. At the Buñuel Studios in Madrid, a team made up of 75 professionals, 14 cameras, 5 giant screens, 12 plasmas and 45 microphones will make it possible for one hundred citizens to ask employers and unions about the economic situation.

One hundred people, including 12 unemployed, will participate live tonight in a new edition of I have a question for you, in which social agents will be in charge of responding to citizens' concerns. The president of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), Gerardo Díaz Ferrán, the general secretary of the Workers' Commissions (CCOO), Ignacio Fernández Toxo, and that of the General Union of Workers (UGT), Cándido Méndez, will face the questions that will be asked by a hundred representative citizens of Spanish society selected by the TNS Demoscopia Institute.

TVE has deployed an important technical operation at the Buñuel Studios in Madrid in which 75 professionals participate who will make it possible for viewers not to miss the silences or the gestures of the guests. A total of 14 cameras, 5 giant screens, 12 plasmas and 45 microphones will carry the voice and image of these one hundred street interviewers. The entire deployment of plasma and LED screens has been commissioned by TVE to Alfasom. In charge of the production will once again be a veteran of the House: Antonio Casado.

Yesterday afternoon several extras took their seats on the Buñuel set while an actor answered their questions as a general rehearsal to test camera shots, lighting, graphics and all the technical elements of this complex space.

On this occasion, Ana Blanco, who previously presented the Andalusian version of this citizen forum, will be in charge of moderating this complex debate. Radio Nacional de España will also send several editors to the Buñuel studios to describe the stage and atmosphere to listeners.
