Rodaje "This is me" por Orson the Kid

In its nine years of life, the Orson the Kid project has combined cinematography and childhood and youth, producing three feature-length films and thirty shorts in which eight hundred students of fourteen nationalities have participated. Today, this interesting initiative takes a new step by presenting its latest project at the UN headquarters in Geneva: This is me, a fiction feature film shot with young people from all over the world, which denounces the lack of some of the fundamental rights of children.

The film reflects the life of Vahid, a 12-year-old African boy who, on the day of his baptism as a child soldier, manages to escape the clutches of the paramilitaries. Life has brought him to Spain hanging on the underside of a truck wishing not to have more nightmares about death and to live normally. Xion Li is a 16-year-old girl of Asian origin who lives off daily theft after escaping from a child prostitution ring. Both are captured on the streets of a city and sent to a Reception Center for Foreign Minors. There they will meet other young people and children of different nationalities, each one with their dream and a story, and fearing that European laws will send them to their respective countries. But one day they decide to run away...
