EdiusNeo 2 Booster, free with AVCCAM cameras
Until April 30, Panasonic is offering Grass Valley non-linear editing software free with the purchase of AVCCAM tapeless cameras AG-HMC71EU, AG-HMC151EU, AG-HMC41EU or the AG-HMR10EU recording unit.
Panasonic Broadcast and IT Systems (PBITS) Europe will provide Grass Valley non-linear editing software Edius Neo 2 Booster, an updated version of EDIUS Neo 2, for free, with cameras in its AVCCAM line. The package will be available for devices purchased between January 1 and April 30, 2010.
The software will be delivered free of charge with purchases until April 30 when you purchase the Panasonic AVCCAM tapeless cameras AG-HMC71EU, AG-HMC151EU, AG-HMC41EU or the recording unit AG-HMR10EU.

This move expands Panasonic's existing support for Edius Neo 2 and helps provide greater flexibility to industry professionals seeking the benefits of native AVCHD editing. Traditionally, it was necessary to use codecs for direct conversion for editing purposes. The ability to natively edit the AVCHD format with Edius Neo 2 Booster software eliminates this requirement, reducing time, simplifying the editing process. With this software, users can work with three AVCHD video sources in real time, increasing native editing speed and image quality as part of a better workflow.
