Pro Tools Instrument Expansion Pack: adding music to a production is no longer a problem

The Pro Tools Instrument Expansion Pack expands on the more than 70 virtual instruments, effects and plug-ins included in Pro Tools 8, greatly expanding the software's creative possibilities, delivering incredible sound quality, innovative features and music playback capabilities, making it easy to add music to any production.

Avid Digidesign has just introduced the Pro Tools Expansion Pack, a set of five professional-quality virtual instruments that allow musicians and producers to take full advantage of the creative possibilities of Pro Tools while writing, composing and recording music. This pack considerably expands the creative possibilities of the software, allowing you to easily create music, thus avoiding the problem of searching for music that is not subject to rights in any production.
Pro Tools Instrument Expansion Pack includes updated versions of the Structure professional sampler station, Strike virtual drums, Velvet classic electric pianos, Transfuser groover creator, and Hybrid high-definition synthesizer. All instruments have been updated with new features that offer greater integration with Pro Tools and the ability to drag audio and MIDI regions, so customers can achieve creative results more easily and quickly.

As far as Structure is concerned, it is an advanced professional sampler station, allowing customers to create, model, edit and debug all types of sounds, from acoustic instruments to complex sound scenes in real time. This new version includes over 5GB of new sounds, giving users more acoustic possibilities than ever before. Structure now also supports more native sample formats, such as Giga-Sampler and Kontakt 3, so customers can easily integrate their sound libraries and start using them in Pro Tools right away.

As for Strike, it is a virtual instrument that emulates the style of a real drummer, making it easy to create, control and produce professional drum performances in Pro Tools. It now offers new high-definition electronic and acoustic drums, giving users a greater variety of percussion options. Strike also offers additional options for customers to use their own samples, allowing you to create virtual performances and fully customized drum sounds that will add a human touch to every track.

Velvet can realistically emulate a wide variety of classic electronic pianos, as well as offering more acoustic possibilities than previous versions, such as classic “digital” electronic piano sounds from the 80s, and a new improved reverb effects module with vintage sounds that give a classic touch to recordings.

Transfuser, for its part, is an innovative instrument for creating grooves, phrases and loops in real time that now offers a new bass module inspired by the Roland TB-303 synthesizer. This way, customers can recreate these original classic sounds, as well as other modern synth bass sounds. Transfuser also includes 1.6 GB of audio loop and new material, such as new electronic drums and a new 6-band parametric equalizer, providing more options and greater creative control of the instrument when creating rhythms and grooves.

Finally, Hybrid is a high-definition synth plugin that combines the warmth of legendary analog synths with a wide variety of modern manipulation features. It now offers completely new tonal possibilities, with over 250 new patches, and includes multiple Square, Blue, White, Mod and Crackle waveforms for the noise oscillator, allowing customers to create everything from heavy, retro-style synthesized audio to modern, innovative sounds.

This is the first version in which these five virtual instruments can be purchased in a single package and in which a single unified installer is included, designed to carry out installation and authorization in a simple and clear way.

This pack will be available in the first quarter of this year at a price of around 345 euros, with exclusive upgrade options so that customers who have any of the instruments can update them to the latest relevant version, or to benefit from additional prices by upgrading to the complete set of instruments.
