“Adolfo Suárez, the president”, political-fiction on Antena 3
Antena 3 premieres the TV movie co-produced with Europroducciones with a script by Juan Carlos Rubio and Carlos Asorey and direction by Colombian Sergio Cabrera. The technical team has trusted Ovide B.S. and on RED One.
Antena 3 premieres today the first of the two parts of the new TV movie produced by Antena 3 Films and Europroducciones about the life of former president Adolfo Suárez. Divided into two installments of 70 minutes each, the first narrates his youth and the beginnings of his political career, while the second recounts his years in government from when he was sworn in as president until the coup of 23-F.
Adolfo Suárez, the president is directed by the Colombian Sergio Cabrera (who had also directed Severo Ochoa: the conquest of the Nobel Prize o The snail strategy) while the script has been a shared responsibility between Juan Carlos Rubio from Córdoba and Galician Carlos Asorey Brey (The commissioner, Cha cha cha). The Suárez family has not wanted to collaborate or comment on this production until seeing the result tonight.
To carry out the filming, the technical team has trusted Ovide B.S. and on RED One, and has focused on locations located in Segovia, Ávila and Madrid. As for the cast, Ginés García Millán (Heirs) plays Adolfo Suárez, , Toni Acosta (The Ulysses Syndrome) plays Amparo Illana, the wife of Adolfo and Fernando Cayo (20-N. Franco's last days) will characterize King Juan Carlos I.
