Thanks to a collaboration agreement between Midopro and Tedial, both companies will collaborate in the development of the Tarsys 4.0 audiovisual document management software, commissioning Unitecnic for the necessary integration to carry out the tests.
Mediapro and Tedial have reached a collaboration agreement for the final development and the tuning of version 4.0 of the Integral Solution for Media Tarsys management. The Malaga company is finalizing this development to launch the market soon, collecting among many other things the experience that Tarsys will give it to the enormous digital goal file TV.
Mediapro considers strategic to participate in the new software application of the Tedial Audiovisual Technology Company given the importance that digital file management currently has for the group.
A huge file in HD
Gol TV supposes for tedial an ideal production platform to develop Tarsys 4.0 since it is a channel with large file requirements. The needs of the MAM by the writing exceed those of any other production center and the documentation department has a great experience in these systems. In addition, being a channel that produces all its high definition content, it is the most appropriate scenario to prove the performance of any Broadcast equipment on the market.
Unitecnic will be responsible for the necessary integration that will allow the tests. The Audiovisual Engineering Company of the Mediapro Group has a long experience in Tedial solutions since it made the integration of the current GGOL TV file and have installed this type of systems such as LASEXTA, the ESPN Sur television channel in Buenos Aires and the Bainet producer.
CMIS standard
The CMIS standard (content management interoperability services), introduced in 2009, represents a very important advance for the sharing of information stored in heterogeneous systems. CMIS is a Universal Service Web that must incorporate content management applications, offering a unified interface. CMIS facilitates the integration of the contents belonging to different repositories and allows access to the contents of the different repositories from the user interface of an application. facilitating applications reading or publication of content as part of the business process, without the need for specific connectors to each repository.
Tarsys 4.0, the new version of the powerful MAM System (Media Asset Management) of Teial, incorporates a Java implementation of the CMIS standard, which simplifies the design of distributed documentary systems and unifies access to information systems, regardless of internal architecture. Tarsys 4.0 will allow the integration of all documentary systems already available or planned in the Imagina group.
