LANCOM and MOBotIX develop IP video surveillance on mobile phone networks
LANCOM will present a combination of the M24 outer chamber and the new Router UMTS/3G OAP-3G at the Mobotix stand in CEBIT, a solution that is securely integrates into the company's network through a VPN tunnel on UMTS/3G mobile telephony.
Mobotix, full solutions provider for high -resolution IP video, and Lancom Systems networks will cooperate in joint projects under the umbrella of the Lanstrategy Partners Program. The products of both companies are already used in a series of joint projects, however when reinforcing this collaboration they will achieve greater compatibility. For example LANCOM will provide detailed information to optimize QO settings for communications between cameras and VPN routers, WLAN and Switches access points of LANCOM.
We result from this close collaboration we can see them in Cebit where both companies will show a combination of the Mobotix IP M24 external camera and the new outer router of LANCOM UMTS/3G OAP-3G. It is an efficient and economical solution to solve the video vigilance of public spaces, events or places separated from the enclosure of some companies. This system is safely integrated into the company's network through a VPN tunnel on the UMTS/3G mobile phone network. This means that surveillance infrastructure with network support no longer depends on conventional networks, telephone lines or Internet connections. The internal memory of the camera, combined with web access, provides instant visibility on remote areas, even for mobile operators. The power supply to the camera is performed through the OAP-3G, which in turn can operate through several power supplies, including solar panels or winding mini-generators.
