Optocore Fiber Network Technology Unites SSL Consoles
Optocore's Optical Digital Network System proposal will allow the integration of Solid State Logic C10 HD and C100 HDS consoles as well as transmit and receive up to 128 audio I/O channels.
The Solid State Logic (SSL) C10 HD and C100 HDS consoles can now be integrated with the Optical Digital Network System technology of the German Optocore through MADI fiber optics thanks to a collaboration agreement signed by both companies at NAB 2010.
Through the SSL MADI I/O control protocol integrated into Optocore technology, the SSL consoles will be able to send and receive up to 128 audio I/O channels and can even remotely control the microphone preamplifiers in the Optocore LX4AP Stageboxes, which from now on will be automatically identified by the Solid State Logic consoles.
By combining SSL MORSE Stageboxes with Opticore LX4AP, users will be able to connect multiple consoles and stageboxes with complete redundancy. This integration over a fiber network will provide greater flexibility and control over relevant systems in an installation, especially in stage applications, large studios or stadiums.
