Optocore AutoRouter multiplies the possibilities of the Helsinki Music Center

Jori Tossavainen, studio head, gives more details about the integration: "With this update we decided to free the old DiGiCo SD8 from its FOH position, and deploy it as a portable unit within its own flightcase (and as a monitor table). At the same time (...) we were able to free up an SD rack that could move alongside the SD8. They are now used throughout the venue and are connected by the AutoRouter to the main system."
Beyond the AutoRouter system, the Helsinki Music Center has integrated a couple of devices Optocore M8 TUESDAY, as well as a new console DiGiCo Q338 with a loop Optocore and FOH, replacing the previous SD8. In the broadcast and recording part, the previous Studer consoles have been replaced by three consoles Theirs mc² 56 for control rooms through a Ravenna network, and the Anubis and Horus interfaces of Merging Technologies. The overall budget for the update was around 700,000 euros.
