Sharjah Broadcasting Authority is the public media outlet of the Emirate of Sharjah. Its digital platforms, including Passing, aim to promote cultural heritage, educational content and high-quality entertainment among Arabic-speaking audiences around the world. In collaboration with White Peaks Solutions, Spideo, a solution that Mediagenix acquired in 2024, has begun providing Maraya with a AI-based semantic recommendation engine.

This solution enables real-time customization based on semantic data, user context and editorial objectives, providing intuitive recommendations aligned with both user intent and brand values. This cutting-edge personalization increases engagement by 20-60% and conversion by 35%, while reducing curation effort by 50%.

Maraya users will thus benefit from customization “human-centered”, as part of the content management system Faulio of White Peaks Solutions and online video platform KWIKmotion, an enterprise-grade solution that enables broadcasters and publishers to create, manage and monetize OTT platforms across multiple devices in a secure and scalable environment.
