AJA increases the capabilities of its RovoCam compact camera system

Version 2.0 of the RovoControl and RovoRx-SDI software offers new multi-camera configuration and control capabilities for the RovoCam camera system with HDBaseT interface.

AJA has on the market the interesting RovoCam compact camera that, through an HDBaseT interface, is capable of capturing and transporting video (up to Ultra HD), audio, control and power over a simple CAT 5e/6 cable in lengths of up to one hundred meters.

Now, it has just released version 2 of the RovoControl control software and the RovoRx-SDI receiver (with four 6G/3G-SDI outputs and one HDMI compatible with UltraHD). This update will offer new features for multi-camera setup and control. The software update provides updated multi-camera control for RovoCam and new presets and features for greater productivity in ProAV, industrial, corporate, security and traditional broadcast environments.

Notably, RovoControl v2.0 control software is compatible with Mac and Windows and allows users to control AJA HDBaseT products, complementary to the RovoCam ecosystem, including RovoRx-SDI, RovoRx-HDMI and Corvid HB-R.
