Sony has announced at IBC the PXW-FS5, the latest addition to its range of robust professional cameras, with excellent creative and flexible recording functions.

The PXW-FS5's versatile ready-to-record style enables on-the-go 4K recording in the harshest conditions. Complementing the success of the PXW-FS7, this new compact camera offers high-quality images, ideal for a wide variety of professional applications, from event videography to online and professional video production.

PXW-FS5The PXW-FS5 has an ergonomic design designed for the user; Its lightweight 0.8kg body offers an excellent weight balance to ensure reliability and also offers the ability to record by hand all day in virtually any location, even from the air mounted on a drone. Ease of use for a wide variety of recording applications is made possible by the one-touch rotating grip; All major controls are at the user's fingertips, allowing you to achieve flexibility during recording and instantly switch between angles. Responding to the demand for greater ergonomic flexibility, the 3.5″ LCD panel can be attached in different positions to the grip or compact camera body, allowing for easier manual operation and customizable recording.

Improved creative expressiveness is evident with the inclusion of XAVC 4K high-definition recording with the Exmor Super-35 CMOS sensor, which incorporates 11.6 million pixels and 8.3 million effective, allowing for the capture of textures. and image details that even HD sensors cannot see.
