'Rabia' triunfa en el Festival de Málaga

La película de Telecinco Cinema, Think Studio y Dynamo, producida por Guillermo del Toro y distribuida por Wanda Visión obitene cuatro galardones en el 13º Festival de Cine Español de Málaga. Ha recibido los premios a la Mejor Película, a la Mejor Fotografía, al Mejor Actor Secundario (Álex Brendemühl) y la Mención Especial del Jurado, concedida al actor protagonista Gustavo Sánchez Parra.

Rabia, película de Telecinco Cinema, Think Studio y dynamo, producida por Guillermo del Toro (director de Pan's Labyrinth, ganadora de tres Oscar) y distribuida por Wanda Visión ha sido reconocida en la 13ª edición del Festival de Cine de Málaga con el Premio a la Mejor Película, a la Mejor Fotografía, al Mejor Actor Secundario (Álex Brendemühl) y con la Mención Especial concedida al actor protagonista Gustavo Sánchez Parra, convirtiéndose así en la gran triunfadora de este certamen cinematográfico.

Festivales de Tokio y de Guadalajara

Directed by Sebastián Cordero (Rats, mice and thieves y Chronicles) and starring Martina García (love or die o Satan), Gustavo Sánchez Parra (Dog loves), Concha Velasco and Álex Brendemühl, among other actors, Rabia was awarded the Special Jury Prize at the last Tokyo International Festival, the most important film competition in Japan whose jury was chaired in its twenty-second edition by the Mexican director Alejandro González Iñarritu. Besides, Rabia se ha alzado recientemente con los galardones de Mejor Director, Mejor Actor y Mejor Fotografía del Festival de Cine de Guadalajara.

The film delves into the story of José María, an immigrant employed in construction who causes the accidental death of his foreman after a physical confrontation between the two. Confused and scared, he takes refuge in the mansion where his girlfriend Rosa works as a domestic worker, also an immigrant. No one, not even her, knows the whereabouts of the young man. An unexpected event forces José María to remain hidden in the house...
