Grass Valley Ignite Konnect, recognized by the industry

El nuevo Ignite Konnect, galardonado ahora por dos publicaciones del sector, está pensado especialmente para automatizar producción en directo en instalaciones que cuenten con mezcladores Kalypso o Kayenne sin requerir apenas cambios en sus configuraciones.

Coincidiendo con NAB 2010 Grass Valley presentó la actualización de su sistema de producción automatizada Ignite, denominada Ignite Konnect, que permitirá a los usuarios de los mezcladores Kalypso y Kayenne una fácil transición a la automatización de producción en directo.

Two of the international publications in the sector, Broadcast Engineering and Tv Technology, have decided to award the Pick Hit and STAR, respectively, to Ignite Konnect, recognizing that this software suite is emerging as one of the most innovative technologies presented this year during the Las Vegas event.

The Grass Valley Ignite system leverages the proven performance of its Ignite predecessor, integrated in more than a hundred installations around the world, to automate a broadcaster's workflow as much as desired. Ignite Konnect is specially designed to automate live production in facilities that have Kalypso or Kayenne mixers without requiring hardly any changes to their configurations. Ignite also fully interacts with the MediaFuse multipurpose content multi-distribution system, providing complete multimedia content production both in live distribution and in video on demand for web or mobile platforms.

El nuevo Ignite Konnect permite utilizar efectos como siempre (E-MEMs, Macros, Timelines…) e independientemente renombrar niveles de Local M/E o Master E-MEN con control directo de transición, asignación de buses o particiones.

In conjunction with the DoubleTake tool on both Kayenne and Kalypso under M/E architectures, it provides two independent outputs for each keyed mix effect for secondary channels or file. Finally, it should be noted that the system allows automation, according to each need, from audio mixers to video servers, graphics generators or robotic cameras, integrating under the MOS protocol in the workflow together with news editing systems (AP-ENPS, Avid iNews...), advanced digital news production (Grass Valley Aurora, Avid Control Air) or graphics automation (Vizrt, Chyron HyperX, Deko, Vertigo, Inscriber, Pixel Power Clarity…)
