Avid 2010 Event, the great day of post-production and audio

Avid is preparing a day for June 15 in which it will show its latest tools in professional video and sound, and in which professionals will be able to attend training, share their experiences and enjoy the exclusive concert by Ariel Rot.

Know the latest news from Avid, attend exclusive Media Composer v5 trainings, share experiences with renowned audiovisual and professional sound professionals, or attend an exclusive live concert by Ariel Rot are just some of the possibilities that all professionals who wish to do so will be able to enjoy in the day that Avid is organizing for next June 15.

This macro-event will begin at 12 noon with a series of custom demos of Media Composer (in an integrated workflow with RED and 3D), DS, Pro Tools + D-Comand and Venue. These solutions will be shown working in workflows together with Canon equipment, Panasonic y Sony. Next, Avid will announce the latest news and tools in its solutions for both video and audio.

At 1:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., professionals who attend the event will be able to participate in a training on Media Composer 5, learning first-hand about the improvements in the latest version and the tips and tricks to get the most out of this advanced solution. From 2:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. a series of personalized demos will take place, resuming the presentations open to everyone from that time onwards.

At 5:30 p.m. there will be an interesting round table led by the director of Panorama Audiovisual, Antonio Castillo, which under the title of “the re-evolution of direct sound” will serve for renowned sound mixing engineers such as Alberto Liras, Felipe Calvin, José Dalama, José Luis Crespo, José Mª Rosillo and Robb Allan (one of the best experts in direct sound engineering in the world, who has mixed for such successful groups as Coldplay, Manic Street Preachers, Natalie Imbruglia and Lisa Stansfield) exchange points of view on how the latest technology is facilitating their work by promoting new creative realities.
Two hours later, Antonio Castillo will have a talk with Josep María Aragonés, Bernat Aragonés and Xavier Tribó, in which they will discover some of the challenges and secrets that have led Apuntolapospo to become an undisputed reference in stereographic production with such outstanding works as the 3D concert recorded by Enrique Bunbury for Canal+.

The day will end with a review of the main Avid news for those who joined in the afternoon, closing the night with a flourish: an exclusive live concert by Ariel Rot.
